Can you tell me the difference between successful people and the ones who struggle... to me and to Kevin Hogan in Covert Persuasion, it is clear it is a Focused Outcome Mindset.
So you are asking, what is a Focused Outcome Mindset and what does it have to do with Persuasion.
Well let's start with the latter.
The most important person to Persuade is yourself. As without that, success will be hard faught. It is key to start there and make sure you are on board wiht the outcome. Then and only then will your mindset come in aligntment with your goals.
A Focused Outcome Mindset, is the ability to see and imagine the outcome you want in your mind, determine what actions are needed to meet that outcome, then going all out to until you reach the desired outcome.
It takes 1000% discipline and laser beam focus.
The toughest part is to maintain that focus. As the outside world will come in and distract you. Or you will let it come in. Become militant with your time. It is not easy, but if the outcome you are seeking is something that aligns with your purpose, your goal, you will do what ever it takes to make it happen.
Sacrifice, yes.
Do you have to sacrifice sleep, maybe.
Sacrifice time with your friends and family, maybe.
No TV, maybe. No nights out, maybe.... it is up to you.
I can tell you that any successful person out there has made some sacrifice.
How many golf balls do you think Tiger Woods has hit?
How much time do you think Peyton Manning spends reviewing tape of games?
How many baskets has Micheal Jordon made, in practice?
How many miles has Lance Armstrong rode?
Sacrifice, YES!
When you decide, let nothing stop you.
Go for it!
I can tell you personally this is a challenge, but I see the goal. It is so worth the effort and sacrifice.
To your success!

Really? Do you have to talk yourself into going to get groceries?
Now Cindy, come on.... you must be thinking. I am serious. Do I have to PERSUADE myself to go to the store?
At Wealth CAMP, with Kevin Hogan, Motivational Speaker, business, education, he spoke about the fact that we just go get groceries. Do we think about it, no. Do we have to ponder it, no. Do we have to persuade ourselves to get up and go, no. Do we have to prepare, no. Why is that? And how does that play into our lives.
What if everything we wanted was as easy as going to the store to get groceries? Could that be possible? Yes it can. If you think about it, when you go to the store, you know what you are doing, you BELIEVE. You are CERTAIN. You have complete confidence in what you are doing. It just is.
Now if you were to translate that into your life goals and dreams. If you just BELIEVED with so much CERTAINTY that you could make that call, persuade that client (check out Bold Calling on this subject), get that date (check out April Braswell on this subject) or sell that product. How would your life be different? How would you feel about yourself?
I believe that if we all were to have that much CERTAINTY in our lives, we would be unstoppable. I am going to get groceries... Thanks Kevin, for an easy analogy that we can live by.
