Your Body Language and the Turkey
I can tell you that my body language on more than one occasion at Thanksgiving has not been very constructive. I hope you have not experienced the same thing.
For me, I tend to have very strong opinions and that can create a pretty good discussion. My opinions do not always conform with the norm. This can cause some very negative body language. Most of the time Thanksgiving is spend with those you are closest to. That also means those are the people you feel you can express yourself the strongest too and it be okay. I have learned to voice my opinion and not really care what others think or feel about it. This tends to defuse the conversation as the attachment to it is gone.
So as you head into this wonderful day with family and friends. Keep in mind a smiling face and happy place and leave your ego at the door. This will allow you to be very present with those you love. (Which is a gift all by it's self.) That will eliminate any negative body language and make the day very special.

Later in the evening, my 3 sibs and I just HUNG on the coach together. Comfy relationship time. When it is like that, the "I love you" is silent. It's just communicated in our body language and our love of each other. (oh, but then the dishes will need to be done.... run!)
